Sea of Thieves – April 30 – PS5
The famous pirate game from producer Rare, previously exclusive to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC, is now also available on the PlayStation 5 (PS5) console. Sea of Thieves is a first-person multiplayer game in which users can experience the life of a pirate, being the captain of different types of ships, fighting other players at sea, boarding enemy ships, hunting for treasure, and more.
Up to 4 people can join together as a crew to uncover secrets of the seas, hunt creatures, fight skeletons on islands, complete narrative-driven missions, and more. All your efforts earn you fame with the trading company and make you a legend among pirates. Endless Ocean Luminous – May 2 – SW
An unexpected sequel to the relaxing diving series originally released on the Nintendo Wii in 2007, Endless Ocean Luminous invites players to once again dive into the ocean to appreciate the beauty of marine life and uncover mysteries. Users will be able to join groups of up to 30 people online to dive in a location that changes with each dive and enjoy more than 500 species of marine life, some even considered extinct or just legends.
There is a story mode to save the World Coral and a mystery log in which players can discover buried treasures, strange creatures, and more. Endless Ocean Luminous is available for Nintendo Switch for R$249. A 7-day free trial is available to subscribed Nintendo Switch Online users.
Front Mission 2: Remake – April 30 – PS5, XBSX/S, PS4, XB, PC
After already being released on the Nintendo Switch, the remade version of Front Mission 2: Remake is now available on other consoles and PCs. The RPG and strategy game released in 1997 for the PlayStation One takes place 12 years after the original and maintains its geopolitical themes. Players will control 3 protagonists: Ash, Lisa, and Thomas, pilots of huge humanoid war machines called Wanzer, amid political turmoil after the city of Alordesh is occupied by the Revolutionary Army. Battles between armies are fought between turns and Wanzers can be customized with different parts and weapons to alter their performance in battle.
MotoGP 24 – May 2nd – PS5, XBSX/S, PS4, XB, SW, PC
The annual motorcycle racing game returns with contested courses in categories such as MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto 3 based on the sport’s 2024 season. A new career mode will allow you to create your own driver from humble beginnings, developing rivalries and even achieving great successes that will leave their mark on history. A new feature is the Driver Market, which allows drivers to transfer teams and make the competition tougher.
Furthermore, the game maintained the neural help system that determines how much assistance the player needs automatically based on their performance, also bringing a new adaptive difficulty to accompany it. This unusual game from independent studio Odd Meter features a third-person narrative adventure in which players control a nun named Indika in 19th century Russia. Initially, the nun seems like an ordinary and hard-working person, but she makes friends and has conversations with none other than the Devil and this connection takes her on a journey of self-knowledge beyond her monastery. The gameplay mixes platform, exploration, puzzle solving, and more as players uncover a world that is sometimes inhospitable, sometimes distorted, in a story full of dark humor.
Cyber Citizen Shockman 3: The Princess from Another World – May 3 – PS5, XBSX/S, PS4, XB, SW
Originally released in 1992 only in Japan for the PC Engine, the Japanese version of the TurboGrafx-16, Cyber Citizen Shockman 3: The Princess from Another World is a classic action and platform game that did not reach the West at the time. The game features heroes of justice Arnold and Sonya who transform into Shockman to face a mysterious threat when a spaceship attacks a tropical island where they were.
Its gameplay features non-stop action with support for cooperative multiplayer for two people and a new, more accurate English translation. Despite having already been re-released on other occasions, the game is now arriving on modern platforms and brings features such as rewinding the action, art gallery, and more. El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron HD Remaster – April 28 – SW
A classic action game first released in 2011 on the PlayStation 3 (PS3) and Xbox 360 is given new life in a remastered version for the Nintendo Switch. In El Shaddai players control Enoch, who is sent on a mission to defeat and recover the souls of a group of fallen angels to prevent the Earth from being flooded as in God’s plans. The story based on events from the Old Testament and the Book of Enoch is told through several stages with beautiful visuals while the gameplay brings a lot of action with a simple system to play, but with depth to master.
This edition also includes bonus content such as the digital book “Lucifer’s Fall Chronicles of Ceta” and a digital art book. El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron HD Remaster is available for Nintendo Switch for R$55.
