Streameast Watch DMCA Notice

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) is a United States copyright law that implements two international treaties. These treaties are the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Copyright Treaty and the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty.

Streameast Watch respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that your copyrighted material has been infringed on the Streameast Watch website, you may submit a notification of claimed copyright infringement (“Notice”) under the DMCA.

1. DMCA Notice Requirements

To be effective, your Notice must comply with the following requirements:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work: You must describe the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, including, at a minimum, a title, author, or other identifying information.
  • Identification of the infringing material: You must describe the material on the Website that you claim is infringing your copyright, in a reasonably sufficient detail to permit Streameast Watch to locate it. Please include the URL of the infringing material if possible.
  • Contact Information: You must provide your contact information, including your name, address, email address, and phone number.
  • Good Faith Belief: You must state your good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Statement Under Penalty of Perjury: You must state, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your Notice is accurate and that you are the authorized copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.

3. Take Down Process

If you submit a DMCA Notice that complies with the requirements set forth above, Streameast Watch will:

  • Remove the infringing material from the Website within a reasonable time.
  • Forward the DMCA Notice to the alleged infringer.

4. Counter-Notice

If the material was removed based on a DMCA Notice, the alleged infringer may submit a counter-notice. To be effective, a counter-notice must comply with the requirements set forth in the DMCA.

If a counter-notice is received, Streameast Watch will send a copy of the counter-notice to the party who submitted the original DMCA Notice. We will then replace the removed material or restore access to it within 10 business days, unless the party filing the original DMCA Notice files an action seeking a court order to keep the material removed.

5. Repeat Infringers

Streameast Watch reserves the right to terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

6. Misrepresentations

Making a false or misleading representation that a material or activity is infringing copyright may subject the party making the misrepresentation to liability.

7. Changes to This DMCA Notice

We may update this DMCA Notice from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new DMCA Notice on the Website. You are advised to review this DMCA Notice periodically for any changes.
